Platform role in a prop stack
The trading platform is one component of a prop environment. Challenge logic, customer workflows, rule evaluation, dashboards, payments and reporting may live in separate systems.
Account provisioning
Define how evaluation and funded accounts are created, grouped, disabled, reset and synchronized with the client-facing application.
Rule and risk engine
Specify which system calculates drawdown, daily loss, profit targets, prohibited behavior and scaling rules. Rules should be deterministic, testable and visible to operations.
Data synchronization
Design reliable synchronization for accounts, trades, balances and status changes. Include idempotency, retry behavior, reconciliation and monitoring.
Operational controls
Use role-based access, change logging and clear escalation procedures for account interventions and rule disputes.
Performance and scale
Test account creation bursts, reporting workloads and data synchronization under expected peak conditions rather than relying only on average usage.
Deployment checklist
Validate platform configuration, prop rules, customer journeys, reporting, notifications, support workflows and recovery procedures before launch.
